Julie L. Swensson, Au.D., FAAA
Dr. Julie Swensson, currently serving the Las Vegas area as an audiologist, has her clinical doctorate degree in audiology. She specializes in audiovestibular disorders (hearing, balance, and tinnitus) and is licensed to practice in the state of Nevada as an audiologist and hearing instrument specialist. Dr. Julie is a third generation hearing instrument specialist, following in her mother and grandfather’s footsteps. After receiving her undergraduate degree in biology from Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio, Dr. Julie returned to Colorado and began working for her parent’s audiology practice in Littleton. After job shadowing an audiologist who was working with them, Dr. Julie decided to return to school to receive her graduate degree in speech and hearing sciences from the University of Colorado.
Karen M. Swensson, BC-HIS
Karen Swensson has been nationally Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences (BC-HIS) for more than 20 years. She is licensed to practice in the state of Nevada as a hearing Instrument specialist and is also a member of the International Hearing Society. Karen graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in business education and eventually became interested in helping people with hearing loss.
